Ready for This Ride - 3/7/21

Hi folks,

Well, today is the last day I am free  before we get this party started. Tomorrow I begin a long week of appointments in preparation for Friday’s surgery. I am feeling strong, faithful and confident and today my sweet hubby took me joy riding in his “baby”. The weather in Houston today is glorious and we found a cute little cafe in Montrose to indulge on a scrumptious breakfast, washed down with an hibiscus mimosa, while soaking up the gorgeous sunshine.

While my surgery choice may not be something some of you can understand, I want to thank you in advance for respecting my decision to do what is right for me. I want to be around for many more joy rides and while the ride for the next year of my life may be a  bumpy one, being aggressive in my treatment gives me the best odds of being able to  jump in that Porsche for years to come with no regrets.

I Cannot Say Thank You Enough

Thanks for all the well wishing, meal train signing up and praying. I’m so sorry I am not able to respond to each of you individually, but please know I can feel each of you in my heart. I’ll try and update later this week, but if I can’t someone will on my behalf. If nothing else, at least after the surgery to let you all know that I’m doing fantastic.

If you are looking for a place to get a mammogram, just ask your OBGYN.

The technology these days is amazing and you will get your results almost immediately.

Please don’t delay this important act of self care. You and your loved ones deserve it!
